Fashionista Ashleigh Hutchinson is often featured in our 'Fashion We Like' weekly style segment.
The fashion blogger (Ashleigh launched The Daileigh in 2011) and Stylist from Maryland, United States rarely gets it wrong when it comes to style.
" I loved sharing my thoughts on trends, fashion and styling tips and the "latest" happenings in the fashion industry. It was sort of a creative outlet for me.
Over time, I transitioned over to a personal style blogger where I showcase my outfits and look at my blog now as more than a hobby. I recently ventured into the styling/personal shopping aspect which has been great so far."
"It's such a humbling experience for people to come up to you who don't know you, but they ask to take a picture with you because they follow my blog. I absolutely love meeting my readers, just to be able to thank them in person and know I appreciate them is wonderful."
"Unexpected -- you never know what's next! Whether I'm styling a basic tee or suit and tie, you just don't know what's coming next. Fashion is all about having fun and expressing yourself creatively so I don't like to limit myself to one particular look."
Where do you shop?
"ONLINE! I hate going to the malls because the inventory is so limited, and who likes standing in lines? I go to the mall every once in a blue moon. I do make exceptions for H&M and Zara. Other than that, I am an online shopper."
What has been on the most pleasant surprises to come from working on The Daileigh?
"Being able to work with H&M to be their sole style ambassador for the state of Maryland. I am an avid H&M shopper/fan so it was such an amazing feeling to know they personally chose me and it was even cooler to know that they knew my blog."
Who is your favorite designer at the moment?
"I absolutely love Kate Spade, because the collections are filled with classic shapes and silhouettes, but always with a little twist and the styling is genius. I stalk their runway collections each season."
"Don't follow the trends, create them is a favorite of mine. Do what works for you, everything is not always for everyone."
If you had to get rid of all of your clothing except for one item, what would you keep?
"This question isn't even possible to answer!"
