Naomi Campbell appeared Hot 97′s breakfast show with Angie Martinez to promote a new season of her reality show “The Face” .

Sporting a sensational fro the supermodel opened up about her battle against substance abuse and announced that she was currently in recovery.

“I believe in recovery,” “I’m in recovery and it’s something that I respect and try to make sure that something that’s in my mind, everyday. I went on Larry King and said it.”

“Don’t you dare. I’ve paid my dues,” she joked after being asked by presenter Charlemagne if she still has outbursts.

“When I say I’m tough, I mean I like people to be honest to me. I always think there’s room for improvement. So with the girls, as the executive producer, I always bring brands to the show, people that I work with. I want them to have the real life experience as much as possible, so that’s how I deal with them."

“I do it. It’s not for the entertainment, it’s out of real passion. Flipping out is coming from an emotional place and when it comes to my girls I am like, ‘I am going to question things’. If I don’t think something’s fair I’m questioning it. I wanna know. 

And I don’t praise them if they’ve done something that’s God-awful, I’m telling them that was awful. I mean, we learn from our mistakes and I’m not here to sugarcoat anything for them or they’re not going to learn and that’s why they come to the face because they want to learn.”
