A 42-year-old mother-of-two Naudel Turner was stabbed to death in a frenzied attack in Tottenham yesterday afternoon. Ms Turner who worked in a nearby GP surgery was stabbed to death in a Tottenham street yesterday lunchtime.
From The Tottenham Journal:
The pair reportedly had a blazing row during the brief incident near a bus stop at the northern end of Bruce Grove, near the junction with Radley Road.
Ms Turner has two adult sons, aged 19 and 22, and also worked at the practice’s Bruce Grove clinic. A post-mortem examination is due to be held at Haringey Mortuary today.
Lead investigator Det Ch Insp Noel McHugh, who last night appealed for eyewitnesses to come forward and urged them not to post any photos or video online, said today: “Ms Turner was a hard-working mother of two boys. We now believe she knew her attacker.
Enquiries are underway to establish the relationship between the two parties. We are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward and help with the investigation.”
He added: “I need to hear from anyone who was in the Bruce Grove area shortly before one o’clock on Wednesday, 19 March and who may have witnessed the incident.
“I would like to directly appeal to anyone who may have captured images or footage before and after the incident to contact us immediately.
“In particular we would like to speak to a black male who was wearing a white tracksuit top who witnesses saw taking images at the scene.
“He is not a suspect but we urge him to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
“I would appeal to him or anyone else to contact us with the footage or images they took as a matter of urgency and not to upload them on the internet or share them with friends as it may harm our investigation.”
A 46-year-old man arrested at the scene remains in custody.
