Mexican Teen Kills Her Best-Friend Over Nude Facebook 'Selfies'

A 16-year-old student, Erandy Elizabeth Guiterrez has stabbed her former best friend, Anel Baez, 65 times, causing the teen to bleed to death.

NY Daily News reports that the students, who were once very close, fell out after Anel uploaded nude 'selfie' pictures of the two of them together on Facebook.

The police believe that the stabbing was in retaliation over the pictures which she found “humiliating”.  Reports are that, Anel invited Erandy over to her home in an attempt to talk things out. However, after Erandy arrived, she allegedly asked to use the bathroom, grabbed a knife and repeatedly stabbed her friend. It’s also reported that she threatened Baez over Twitter prior to the stabbing.

After the horrific murder, Erandy unsuccessfully tried to clean the blood from her clothes and the weapon, police said.

Erandy fled the scene and tried to cover up her involvement in the gruesome murder. She even attended Anel's funeral, where police arrested her.
